Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner mock their marriage on SNL: ‘you’re a lot of work’

Ben Affleck was the host on the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend. I’m not going to front like I even bothered to tape it. Just about the only celebrity that could get me to watch SNL again is Matt Damon, and he hasn’t hosted it since 2002. (He did do a short in 2011 with Val Kilmer, Katy Perry and Andy Samberg.) In contrast, this is Affleck’s fifth turn on SNL. He wants us to like him, he wants us to think he’s funny, and he’s willing to mock himself.

In his opening monologue (video below), Affleck referenced his Oscar acceptance speech and blamed “uncharitable souls” on

Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis: Likely Leaving SNL

Saturday Night Live will look very different in the fall.

With Bill Hader confirming his departure this week, it’s now looking increasingly likely that Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis will be joining him on the sidelines.

An insider at NBC tells The New York Post that Armisen is definitely on the way out while Sudeikis will “probably” jump as well.

(And who could blame the latter, really? When he can lie in bed all day and stare at Olivia Wilde nude?)

Seth Meyers, meanwhile, will depart in the spring to focus on his gig as host of Late Night, which will leave Kenan Thompson

Jimmy Fallon and John Krasinski Hold Lip-Sync Contest

John Krasinski is a man of many talents.

The other night on Late Night, The Office star and host Jimmy Fallon didn’t just challenge each other to a sing-off. Oh no, that would have been too generic.

They had a lip-sync-off!

Watch the clip below, as they lip sync classics from Katy Perry, Boyz II Men and more. Who do you think prevailed? Jimmy? John? We’d say viewers:

Did Justin Timberlake diss Kanye West in response to Kanye’s diss of ‘Suit & Tie’?

A few weeks ago, Kanye West went on a tirade during one of his concerts, and his targets were many but included Grammys and the corporate nature of the music industry (even though this is the guy who is blind enough about his own role in the machine that he wore a $30,000 outfit to Occupy Wall Street). In addition, Kanye took aim at Justin Timberlake’s latest single, “Suit & Tie” by ranting, “I got love for Hov but I ain’t f–king with that ‘Suit & Tie’.” Then he went on to shout, “I hate business people. How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and sh-t? Remind me again why we in

Justin Timberlake Saturday Night Live Ratings: Huge!

This just in: Justin Timberlake is a beloved Saturday Night Live host.

The superstar – who hosted the sketch show last night and performed as its musical guest – carried SNL to its biggest ratings since Charles Barkley emceed in January 2012.

And for good reason.

Timberlake joined the exclusive five-time hosting club at the outset of the evening, which included a bit about Hugo Chavez dying and featured such A-listers as Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase.

He then starred in an ad for Moet & Chandon, donned a giant tofu costume and, best of all, did NOT appear in a

Justin Bieber Hosts Saturday Night Live: Grade Him!

So… how did he do?

Justin Bieber took to the Saturday Night Live hosting stage yesterday, braving blizzard and cracking self-deprecating jokes about his age and his resemblance to lesbians such as Ellen DeGeneres.

He was also stuck on another Californians sketch and was joined by Whoopi Goldberg for his opening monologue.

Check it out here and then sound off on Bieber’s performance:

Jessica Chastain ‘thinks Jennifer Lawrence is stealing her thunder’

I think the tabloids have really missed Brangelina this awards season. Last year, Brad Pitt was up for all of the Best Actor awards, and although he wasn’t considered a big contender, the sheer fact that everyone could Brangelina Watch and Brangelina Gossip throughout the awards season made it so much more fun. This year’s awards season has actual competitions – no one really knows who is going to take home the Oscars in most of the acting categories. If I was looking for some juicy drama, I would have gone with Bradley Cooper being super-jealous of Daniel Day-Lewis and Hugh Jackman.

Justin Bieber copped a feel off of a young fan in Florida: creepy or funny?

Has it been a while since I’ve done a Justin Bieber story? It feels like a while, probably because I’m #TeamGomez and I’d rather talk about Selena in general. Anyway, Justin is out and about, promoting his new album (Believe Acoustic). He was in Miami yesterday, and the header photo comes from a “meet and greet” session he did with fans. This is what “newly single” Justin Bieber does – he gropes his fans. He cops a feel. He gets to second base.

Quite honestly, I’ve spent way too much time examining this photo, and from the coverage I’ve seen on other sites, there are mixed opinions

Anne Hathaway mean girls Katie Holmes, ‘doesn’t take her seriously as an actress’

Man, I’d hate to have a feud with Anne Hathaway. Mostly because she’s sort of a goody-goody but also because I’ve seen Bride Wars, and it wasn’t pretty. Even though Anne’s currently riding high (and possibly already crafting speeches) in regard to her current Oscar race, Anne’s done some pretty low-quality movies in her time. Still and according to a story in this week’s Enquirer, Anne allegedly feels that she is above other actresses, and in particular, she’s taking aim at Katie Holmes. Actually, she’s sort of been doing so for a few years now with two “SNL” performances (one in 2010 and

Jennifer Lawrence openly mocks her Oscar rivals on ‘SNL’: disastrous?

I don’t often catch “Saturday Night Live” these days. Now that Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Kristen Wiig (the “Terget” lady!) are gone, and I recognize very few of the musical acts, I find little reason to tune in unless there’s a specific host that’s worth watching. Jennifer Lawrence is barely enough to get me to turn on the television when I otherwise would grab a welcome opportunity to pass out. Sadly, Jennifer’s turn on this weekend’s “SNL” was pretty awful considering that this is an actress who has been nominated for not one but two Academy Awards. Perhaps these promo pics that don’t
