- Fellow music great Chuck Brown also passed, at 75.
- Mitchell Guist of Swamp People fame passed away.
- As did Mary Kennedy, estranged wife of RFK, Jr.

Phillip Phillips vs. Jessica Sanchez: Who Will Win?

We’re down to two on American Idol. The final two. Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez.
One is a young white male who is easy on the eyes and plays the guitar. In other words: the same exact pedigree as the last four winners.
The other has a beautiful voice and hasn’t been afraid all year long of tacking such major artists as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She’s responsible for the single most memorable American Idol performance of the season.
Either would be a worthy champion. Only one will wear the crown next Thursday night.

Miley Cyrus Returns Home

Miley Cyrus returned home with her adorable little dog and her mother, Tish, and sister, Brandi. I’m not sure if the trip was meant to be a Cyrus ladies vacation or what, but Miley certainly made quite a splash.
She has a lot of fans in Miami! Miley has a couple of films in the pipeline: seems like there’s certainly an audience waiting for them.

Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian Hit The Shops

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are keeping busy themselves while Kim is away: the two were spotted out doing some shopping. Cameras were in tow, so they were filming for one of their reality TV shows. With the seventh season of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ premiering this weekend, perhaps they’re shooting their spin-off, ‘Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami’?
I’m not sure, mainly because Kourtney and Khloe are in Beverly Hills (they stopped by Juicy Couture and Toto). Kourtney doesn’t look too far from her due date: maybe they moved the upcoming season of their show to California so she could

Paris Hilton looked upbeat when she arrived for her flight at LAX. Is she heading down to Brazil? That top she’s wearing definitely makes me think of Latin style! I bet she’s excited to be making her DJ debut.
Being a DJ seems to be a popular thing right now, from Simon Cowell and Jada Pinkett-Smith developing a show looking for a DJ to Tom Cruise’s son, Connor, making appearances as a DJ.

Jessica Alba Shows Off Her Sexy Side

Jessica Alba was dressing to impress for this meeting! She was spotted feeding the meter before making her way inside for a business meeting. Maybe it was for a new role that requires her to show off her sexy side?
If that’s the case, then this fitted little red dress definitely made the case for Jessica. I’m sure every male in the building gave her a second glance. At least. And I love that short black leather jacket: it gives her look just the right amount of edginess.

‘Mad Men’ star January Jones was spotted having lunch with some friends yesterday in Los Feliz. It’s good to see her getting out: having a baby has a way of pretty much ending your social life (for a little while, at least).
That pink bag January has seems like the perfect “girlie” touch to a casual outfit. Of course, January always looks great, anyway. Are you a fan of her look and the bag?

Rihanna Dresses Down For Her Flight Out Of Town

Rihanna decided to dress casually for her flight. I don’t blame her: the most important thing about being on a plane is making sure you’re comfortable (especially if you’re going on some long international flight).
Rihanna doesn’t look too thrilled. Maybe the paparazzi asked her about ‘Battleship’? It’s not having the hoped-for debut at the US box office. It seems unlikely that it will overtake ‘The Avengers’ for the #1 spot. A trip to see J.R. Knight may be just what she needs to cheer her up!

Jennifer Garner was spotted picking up Violet and Seraphina from school yesterday afternoon. Jennifer just seems to have gotten back into the swing of things so quickly right after having baby Samuel!
It’s taking a little while longer for this baby Affleck to make his public debut: probably because Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck have their hands full when they’re out with the girls. I’m sure Samuel’s adorable, and we’ll get a good look at him soon.

Kim Kardashian Attends The ‘Quick Trim’ Launch In London

Kim Kardashian has been very busy during this recent trip to London. She was at the FiFi Fragrance Awards the other night and tonight she was seen arriving at the Quick Trim Launch held at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
Kim, who wore a very form fitting black dress with cut-outs, recently had her extensions removed and I think I like her better with her hair this length.
No sightings of Kanye West so far, but he and Kim have been so inseparable lately I’m sure he’s not too far away.
