Kaley Cuoco has over a million Instagram followers, and she’s usually pretty careful about what she shares with them.
Kaley’s not one of those girls who posts 47 selfies a day; she puts some thought into her pics.
(Although, she did post a photo of herself with ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki last week that she probably wishes she could take back, but we’ll let that slide.)
The point is, most of the time when Mrs. Cuoco-Sweeting posts something on her Instagram page, you can safely assume she’s considered it carefully and decided it’s a photo that she wants the world to see.
That may be why we did a double-take when we saw this:
Now, Kaley is known for her lack of vanity and she posts unflattering photos of herself all the time. But she usually takes the pics herself, and she’s never shown us her husband looking so doofy before.
So what gives? Is Kaley just fishing for compliments, or is this her new brilliant strategy for dealing with online negativity?
While most of us cope with online trolls by either engaging in pointless debates or ignoring them and then weeping softly in the nearest bathroom stall, embracing the hate might actually be the most effective method of all.
Frenemy posts a trash talk tweet? Re-tweet it! Aggressive pap snaps an unflattering pic? Pop that mo’ fo’ right on your personal Instagram page.
Even if you didn’t just sign a $90 million contract, you can employ the Cuoco-Sweeting method starving the trolls.
Kaley may have just single-handedly revolutionized online communication. Or maybe we’re just reading too much into this and she’s just being funny. Either way is cool.
