The occasional actress (she recurred last year on 90210) will appear in at least one episode of Pretty Little Liars Season 4, according to The Hollywood Reporter, coming on board as a charity event organizer.
No other details are available at this time, but Willis will stop by the ABC Family smash in July.
The wildly popular series returns on June 11 and will air new episodes all summer long.
It will then introduce characters from its spinoff, Ravenswood, on the annual Halloween special. We can’t wait!
More fashion photos from last night’s People’s Choice awards! You can see the list of last night’s winners here. Sandra Bullock was one of the big “gets” for the People’s Choice, and in true Sandy fashion, she was gracious enough to appear in person (even though it would have been easy for her to blow it off). Sandra was given the People’s Choice Favorite Humanitarian Award for her years of work in New Orleans, including her “dedication to NOLA’s Warren Easton Charter High School.” You can read more about Sandra’s NOLA work here. Sandra wore this pretty and understated Vera Wang two-piece – it’s actually a corseted top and a pencil skirt, not a dress. Blue is one of her best colors, and I think Sandy uses black as a default (as do many women). So, she looked good, she looked classic, and she looked comfortable. Also: I LOVE her darker hair color. I wish more women would go darker.
A lot of people are talking about Naomi Watts’ Alexander McQueen dress like it’s the best thing she’s ever worn. While I like that she went for a different, punky sort of vibe than she usually has, I don’t care for this dress. I think the “bib effect” of the gold sequined top looks really cheap and Marchesa-like. And I don’t like the multi-colored beaded halter thing either. Still, she’s a beautiful woman and she loves fashion, so I hope this will be the first of many interesting/arguable looks that we’ll discuss over the next seven weeks or so.
Call me crazy, but I think Olivia Munn might be too dressed-down for the People’s Choice. This is a boring/fug dress, but it seems more suited for a lunch date than the People’s Choice.
Morena Baccarin (Homeland) in a Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit. White is a great color on her, she’s beautiful and she has an amazing figure. She kind of annoys me as an actress on Homeland, but whatevs.
Rumer Willis in… I don’t have the designer ID. Sorry! I love this silhouette on her (it’s perfect for her figure) but I’m not crazy about the stripes. She looks like a sparkly barber’s pole.
Rumer Willis has been in some movies, but overall, we haven’t heard much about her acting. Now the oldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore wants to stay in the entertainment industry, but in a different area: singing. Rumer reportedly wants to be a pop star and now has a weekly singing gig at The Sayer Club in LA.
“The venue likes Rumer to sing every week because she brings publicity but the truth is she’s horrible. The regulars all secretly laugh at her because she’s always bragging that she sounds like Lana Del Rey when actually the audience can’t stand to listen to her.
“Rumer is a chainsmoker and she feels like smoking gives her voice a raspier edge like Lana’s. But all it really does is cause her to cough constantly on stage which adds to her poor performance.”
Oh boy. That’s a tough one. How do you tell someone that? But if Rumer is a smoker, then, as any vocal coach will tell you, smoking and singing do NOT mix. These pictures are of Rumer singing with her band in Miami.
Here are some new photos of Rumer Willis on Waikiki Beach during a vacation in Oahu, Hawaii on Saturday. Sometimes, I actually come around on Rumer and I actually find her a sympathetic person – her mom is a whackjob and her dad is busy creating a second family with his new young wife, you know? That doesn’t mean that Rumer is a supermodel or anything (even though she gets modeling contracts!), but if she keeps her expectations low, I’m fine with her having a Hollywood career. I’m surprised she doesn’t try to do more television work, like Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri, who is building an acting career slowly and without any “I’m a natural movie star!” pretense.
Anyway, these photos. First of all, I really like her bikini. I like these retro styles where the bottoms look like giant granny panties. I think the retro styles are flattering on certain body types, and Rumer has one of those body types. As for her body… I like it. I think she looks fit and healthy. At various points over the past few years, she seemed to lose a dramatic amount of weight, and then sometimes I could have sworn that she had implants. But in these photos, I think her boobs are real and she looks like she’s a healthy weight for her frame. Rumer’s a tall girl, isn’t she?
There are also some rumors going around that Demi Moore thinks Rumer is an alcoholic, and Demi is trying to get Rumer to curb her partying and enter rehab. A source told Star Mag that Rumer’s life “basically consists of sleeping, then going out to hang and drink in bars and clubs, where she’s happiest.” But… I would guess that Rumer could just shoot her a mother a “The drunk apple didn’t fall far from the Whip-It Mother Tree, did it?” look.
Celebs turned out for the premiere of FX’s ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ at Paramount Studios last night! ‘Glee’ stars (and real life couple) Lea Michele and Cory Monteith worked the red carpet. Chloe Sevigny also attended.
Former ‘Heroes’ bad guy Zachary Quinto came out, too. Even Rumer Willis was there! Black was clearly the color of the day for the ladies. What do you think of their red carpet looks? I like all of them, but I’m especially loving Lea’s black gown and Chloe’s dress!
These are some photos from last night’s amfAR “3rd Annual Inspiration Gala” in LA. You’d think with the word “gala” in the event’s name, most of the women would show up in proper gowns. You would be wrong. Some women act like the words “red carpet” and “gala” and “black tie” are mysterious codes to decipher, in which the answer is evidently “sack dresses” or “sack jumpsuits” or “dated blouses from The Limited circa 1997.” Believe it or not, Kate Hudson was one of the few ladies who actually got it right, at least as far as “looking appropriate for the occasion.” Kate’s dress is Prabal Gurung Resort 2013. Her body looks amazing, the color is pretty on her, and she looks good in general, even though this dress isn’t my favorite thing. HATE the necklace.
Here’s Chelsea Handler in her “gala best”. Worst Gala Outfit EVER. Chelsea was the “host” of the evening too.
Rumer Willis in… God, I don’t even know. Does Rumer know how to style herself? Does she have a stylist who hates her? Because this is just a total mess. The shiny nose ring, the ombre hair, the fug dress… it’s a total disaster.
I thought Octavia Spencer looked the best out of everyone. Her dress is pretty and appropriate, and she looks beautiful.
Sarah Jessica Parker in a sack-y jumpsuit and a fitted blazer. I don’t think the jumpsuit is as “special” as SJP thinks it is, but I do kind of like the blazer. Is this gala-wear?
Texting and walking? Big no-no, Miss Kurkova, especially in New York City! Karolina Kurkova was seen strolling and texting through the streets of the Big Apple yesterday in red skinny pants and oversized shades.
And while we don’t recommend keeping your eyes on your phone in a city like NYC, it’s a good thing the stunning Victoria’s Secretmodel is tall and gorgeous enough to stop traffic everywhere she goes!
Audi kicked off the celebration of Emmy week with designer Derek Lam by partying with the stars at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood. Emmy nominees Julie Bowen and Melissa McCarthy attended, along withRumer Willis and Brittany Snow. Julie’s ‘Modern Family’ co-stars Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet were also there for the fun.
Rumer brought along beau Jayson Blair. The couple reportedly stayed by each other’s side all night: awww… Melissa and Missi Pyle were thrilled to see each other. Julie made it a girls’ night out and brought her sister along as her “date.” Fun! ‘Mad Men’ creator Matthew Weiner was also seen catching up with Rich Sommer. Sounds like a great way to kick off the week of festivities leading up to the Emmy Awards!
