Didn’t Jessica Alba look gorgeous on the red carpet at the ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ premiere? I thought she looked amazing. Now I have the dish on how Jessica got her red carpet look. She was a beauty in Chanel. Check it out after the break! RELATED: Jessica Alba was pitch perfect for the LA Dodgers.
Celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder was the one who made Jessica up. Here’s what she did, step-by-step.
Inspiration: Jessica wore a very form-fitting, royal blue dress, so I did not want the make up
to compete with this amazing dress. My inspiration was a sexy modern Brigitte Bardot with a
gorgeous winged eyeliner and a nude lip.
Face: I started off by applying Chanel Hydra Beauty Sérum all over her face to create some
radiance and glow to her skin.
Foundation: Next I applied CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting
Sunscreen Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in 40 Beige with a foundation brush all over.
Cheeks: To give the face some shape and definition, I contoured with Chanel Les Beiges
Healthy Glow Sheer Color SPF 15 in No.50 and I also added a little CHANEL Le Blush
Crème de Chanel in Révélation, a pink creamy blush to her cheeks. To add some
luminosity to the face I used this gorgeous new product, CHANEL Limited Edition Dentelle
Précieuse Illuminating Powder, only on the upper cheekbones.
Eyes: On her eyes, I used CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Smokey Eyes. I started off with
the lower left silver color all over the eye, then I applied the upper left white color in the socket
of the eye. To define the outer socket, I added the lower right black color for more drama. To
define the eye, I added CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir, I winged out the liner
and I also extended the line in the inner corners by the tear duct to really give it that 60’s
Brigitte Bardot vibe.
Mascara: To finish the eyes, I applied three coats of CHANEL Le Volume de Chanel
Mascara in Noir.
Lips: To finish this makeup look, I opted for a beige lipstick in Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour in Sentiment.
