Lost amidst the showdown between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy at Saturday night’s BET Awards? A similar altercation between 50 Cent and some rapper named Gunplay.
And it sure sounds like it was serious!

50 Cent loves to be kept busy! The rapper-turned-businessman was spotted promoting his new range of headphones at “IFA 2012″ while in Berlin, Germany on Friday evening.
It’s great to see 50 doing something he loves and making a business empire out of it. Plus, we can’t wait to hear new music hopefully from him soon. He’s one of the few rappers out there who knows how to make classic club songs that we keep singing in our heads even ten years later (remember “In Da Club??).Visit the Gallery (7 Images)

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made a joke about his birth certificate – and took a subtle shot at his opponent in doing so – at a rally Friday.
Speaking about his roots in Michigan, where has father was governor, he told a Commerce, Mich., crowd, “No one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate.”
“They know that this is the place that we were born and raised.”
It was awkward, if nothing else, for Romney to joke about “birther” conspiracies that dogged President Barack Obama since his 2008 White House run.

But the star athlete’s sister made waves of a very different kind during an interview on a Maryland radio station this week, dropping racial epithet after racial epithet against the Chinese.
“China was chinked out,” she said on a show titled Closing Time. “Everything. Chinks. There was only chinks everywhere… You know how stereotypically they always want to take pictures, they take pictures of everything — chink chink … is that where it comes from?”More >
Well here’s something we’re not used to seeing very often. 50 Cent — real name Curtis Jackson — was spotted riding around Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday afternoon after a little shopping trip he did at a local Marc Jacobs store. Talk about turning posh, right?
Also, I have to say that 50 quite dapper too in a patterned longs-sleeve shirt and jeans that he had on. He was also photographed riding his motorbike with a helmet on, which shows that he’s a responsible celebrity. Lookin’ good 50!Visit the Gallery (12 Images)

His murder, by drive-by shooting, remains unsolved.

Chelsea Handler covers the new issue of Redbook, for some reason. Blah. I guess she’s promoting her E! show, and maybe her NBC show with Laura Prepon. How’s that show doing? The commercials for it look absolutely terrible. Like, I actually wince. I’m not saying that every TV show has to have a “likeable” main character (in fact, it’s more interesting if the lead is not likeable), but shouldn’t the main character – who is based on Chelsea – be interesting enough to want to follow? Isn’t that the crux of good writing? You want to see what happens, you want to follow those characters.More >
