19 Hit Songs Inspired by Celebrities: That’s About WHO?!?

Taylor Swift writes songs about her exes as frequently as some people change their underwear. Swift’s “Shake It Off” is rumored to be about both former flames Jake Gyllenhaal AND Harry Styles.

Or it’s just an anthem about rising above and shaking off the haters. Either way, that’s Taylor’s M.O., but she isn’t the only scathing songwriter in the game.

She’s joined by a veritable legion of singers and bands who’ve made it their great pleasure to respond to their critics, enemies, and exes via song.

I Knew You Were Trouble - Taylor Swift

Oh, Taylor Swift! You just can’t NOT write songs about exes! “I Knew You Were Trouble” is very publicly about One Direction’s Harry Styles.

And then there are the musicians whose songs aren’t about heartbreak at all but are instead tributes meant to help a friend through a tough time.

Songs in which others also find solace, like “Fix You” by Coldplay, which Chris Martin wrote for Gwyneth Paltrow, and which brought comfort to many facing tough times.

We put together a playlist featuring 19 songs inspired by celebrities, some you know well and others you might not. Sit back, relax, and just push play!

They started out basic, but have gotten increasingly elaborate.

“It varies how long it takes, it depends on the drawing,” Helene told BuzzFeed. “Some take 20 minutes, others more. I just kind of get lost in it and enjoy it.”

Terry Crews and Jimmy Fallon Perform First-Ever Nip-Sync Duet on The Tonight Show

Jimmy Fallon is a smart man.

Clearly aware he’ll never top the Emma Stone lip-sync battle from earlier this month, The Tonight Show host didn’t even attempt to do so last night with guest Terry Crews.

Instead, the comedian and the actor engaged in the first-ever nip-sync duet, set to Paul McCartney’s “Ebony and Ivory.”

Yes, readers, a nip-sync duet. Click Play to see what we mean and prepare to be VERY impressed by Fallon’s half-naked body:

American Hustle Deleted Scene: Jennifer Lawrence Dances to Santana!

Jennifer Lawrence earned an Oscar nomination for American Hustle, but if the Academy had seen these epic dance moves and lip-syncing skills?

No offense to 12 Years A Slave star Lupita Nyong’o, who bested her in the Best Supporting Actress category … but it might have sealed it for Jen.

We kid, but this fun American Hustle deleted scene – a four-minute outtake – shows her cynical character, Roselyn Rosenfeld, vacuuming her living room.

Vacuuming with FEELING.

All the while, she’s dancing and mouthing the words to Santana’s 1969 song “Evil Ways” like it’s her job, flailing, whipping her hair, even getting on all fours:

This did not make it into the final cut of the David O’Russell film, however, you may recall that shorter, but equally enthusiastic sing-along by Lawrence did.

Jen grooving to Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die” is seen in the movie.

Check out many more reasons we love Jennifer Lawrence post-jump!

Lea Michele Releases Cory Monteith Tribute Song

Lea Michele has released another track off her debut album.

But this one is extra special and emotional for the artist/actress.

The song is titled “You’re Mine” and Michele told Ellen DeGeneres a few weeks ago that she often breaks down upon listening to it because:

“It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this.”

Michelle, of course, is referring to Cory Monteith, her late boyfriend who died of a drug overdose in July. Listen to the track now and then to a few others off “Louder.”

This one is for Cory Monteith. Lea Michele has said she wrote “You’re Mine” with her late boyfriend in mind.

Obama-Beyonce Affair Alleged By French Newspaper, Shot Down Immediately

An alleged affair between President Barack Obama and Beyonce has been reported by a French newspaper, and has been immediately shot down.

Slamming the sensational claims, The Washington Post has no plans to publish a bombshell story about an alleged affair between the two friends.

Obama, Beyonce Affair?

The outlandish claim emerged in respected French newspaper Le Figaro.

Photographer Pascal Rostain (who is friends with former French First Lady Carla Bruni) promised: “It’ll go out tomorrow [Tuesday, February 11] in the Washington Post.”

“I can assure you that the world will talk about it.”

They will, but not with any sort of seriousness.

Rostain added: “We should not forget Marilyn [Monroe] or Monica Lewinsky. You can be the president of the first world power … that doesn’t make you any less a man.”

No, but it doesn’t mean he’s cheating on Michelle Obama. “It’s definitely not true,” a spokesperson for the Post told Poynter (dot) com in an email.

Similar to the alleged Bill Clinton-Elizabeth Hurley affair, it makes for good copy, that’s it. No truth to it, no matter what some paparazzo or Tom Sizemore says.

The President, 51, and Michelle, 50, recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary last October, and are parents to daughter Sasha, 12, and Malia, 15.

They share a close friendship with Blue Ivy’s parents Beyonce, 32, and husband of nearly six years Jay Z, 44 … who are totally hot and heavy.

No cheating with either couple here …

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr Reunite for A Salute to The Beatles

Five decades after changing the music scene forever, The Beatles brought artists from a variety of genres together last night.

Exactly 50 years to the date after John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr debuted on The Ed Sullivan Show, CBS aired “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles.”

It featured such acts as Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder and Katy Perry, all paying tribute to the legendary band via covers of their greatest hits.

And the event concluded with the group’s two surviving members, McCartney and Starr, singing a duet of “Hey Jude.”

We have no idea why Justin Bieber wasn’t invited to participate, but take in a number of memorable performances from the evening now:

Mariah Carey Performs at BET Honors, Barely Wears a Dress

Mariah Carey is not exactly shy.

She has been known to walk her dogs in the snow while wearing a bikini.

But the singer took her fashion taste to new, barely perceptible levels over the weekend during a performance at the 2014 BET Honors, which was taped Saturday in Washington, D.C., hosted by Wayne Brady and which featured Carey in a dress that was barely there.

Seriously, just look at this thing:

  • Mariah Carey Shows MAJOR Cleavage
  • Mariah Carey Boobs Alert

The event will be broadcast on BET on February 24 and we have a feeling many men just rushed to set a DVR recording for it.

Mariah did also sing a new song titled “You’re Mine,” but why do we doubt anyone will really remember it?

For more examples of Carey showing off her breasts, click through these Mariah Carey bikini photos now:

Yup, Mariah Carey has still got it. She posted this photo to Instagram as evidence.
