Did you manage to catch any of E!’s ‘Fashion Police’ marathon yesterday? I’m kicking myself for forgetting to set my DVR! After the 12 hour marathon, E! had a special, paying tribute to the late Joan Rivers with her daughter, Melissa, as well as Joan’s ‘Fashion Police’ co-hosts: Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos. RELATED: Joan Rivers was laid to rest in NYC.
During the special, Melissa revealed the fate of ‘Fashion Police.’
Yes, Fashion Police will continue. We’re going to hit pause for a little while, but Fashion Police will be back in January.”
Sounds like they’ll be back just in time for awards season! I think Joan would approve of this decision. She was all about show business, so I’m sure she understood the maxim “the show must go on.” I can’t even IMAGINE who could replace her, though. We’ll see in a few months.
Melissa also thanked everyone again for all the support they’ve shown. It will probably be good for her to take some time off and really grieve before getting back to work. She’ll also probably have to spend some time dealing with legal matters: everything coming out from the investigation into Joan’s death suggests some lawsuits will be filed.
