Amber Rose: Dating French Montana’s Brother!

Ever since Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa back in September there have been constant rumors about Amber’s love life.

For a while it seemed that Amber was dating Nick Simmons, the son of rock legend Gene Simmons. Both parties denied the rumors and claimed that they’re just friends.

Amber Rose Close Up

Now, TMZ is reporting that all the times Amber was spotted out and about with Nick, she was actually pulling off low-key rendezvous with Zack Kharbouch, the brother of French Montana.

Sources say Amber and Zack are keeping things on the down low, so as to not to complicate her ongoing custody battle with Wiz.

Of course, it’s not just Amber’s ex who might have an issue with this new romance.

The relationship could make for some seriously awkward holiday gatherings, as Amber used to date Kanye West, who’s sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian is rumored to be back together with French.

Just earlier today, French stated that Kanye would “make a great brother-in-law,” proving once and for all that Hollywood is incestuous and French Montana is not terribly bright.

(Marrying Khloe wouldn’t make Kanye his brother-in-law, but we digress.)

Anyway, Amber and Zack are reportedly moving fast, which may help explain why Rose was so quick to forgive Khalifa for cheating on her.

Gene Simmons’ advice to women: ‘Stop depending on men’

Gene Simmons

This is a photo of Gene Simmons in Germany earlier this month. He wore a sombrero and pretended to be a mariachi band frontman.

Gene is promoting his new book, Me, Inc.: Build an Army of One, Unleash Your Inner Rock God, Win in Life and Business. The book is inspired by Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and talks about how he and Paul Stanley fashioned KISS as a business strategy (rather than merely a rock band). I can only imagine those discussions: “Dude, we’re gonna wear full-face makeup. I’m gonna stick my tongue out like this. Then the dollars and babes will roll in.” Well … it worked. Isn’t it a bit misleading for Gene to claim to be “an army of one” when KISS was clearly a group effort? Paul Stanley recently told Oprah how his first meeting with Simmons was was “insulting.” They worked it out and are still together 40 years later.

Gene visited Fox News to shill his book. He doled out some advice for women:

In an interview with Andrea Tantaros Friday, Simmons went as far as to say women should assume men will abandon them and thus devote their early lives to making money to support themselves.

“This is a very complex and difficult question to answer so I’m going to put it as simply as possible. Women: Stop depending on men. It’s as simple as that. Imagine there are no men in life,” Simmons said. “Find out that thing that you’re good for that makes the money and then get married and or have children from a position of strength.”

Tantaros pressed Simmons about his wife Shannon Tweed, who the rocker married in 2011 after 28 years together.

“You had the blessing of a woman who stuck by you, who raised your children,” Tantaros said. “I read this and I thought, wait a minute, he’s telling me to be selfish and put myself first but at the same time, he regrets those decisions to be selfish.”

Simmons said he regrets not marrying Tweed sooner. “It is a massive failing for me that I didn’t recognize the purity and sanctity of love,” Simmons said. “Why I didn’t marry Shannon when I first met her and dropped head over heels with her is the stupidity and arrogance and selfishness of man.”

[From Fox News]

Gene’s words make sense (in these quotes), but it’s up to any couple to decide their own money issues. If one side is happy being supported by the other (and vice versa), that’s fine. If a couple feels better about both sides contributing equally, that’s perfectly cool too. There is always a risk involved with being supported by a spouse. Divorce happens. That’s life.

My problem with this: Gene believes he’s dispensing wisdom to the masses, and I find him untrustworthy. He gets quoted all the time (mostly stuff from his Sex Money Kiss book) on various MRA discussion boards. I won’t link any of the sites because, ugh. A few quotes from Gene’s 2006 wisdom: “If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race you’re a male chauvinist pig.” Another one: “If you get a promotion ahead of her, it’s favoritism. If she gets a job ahead of you, it’s equal opportunity.” Plus “If you make a decision without consulting her, you’re a chauvinist. If she makes a decision without consulting you, she’s a liberated woman.

Yep. Gene Simmons influences the MRA groups who wreak havoc on the internet. These guys think all women are trying to suck men dry financially. These guys also believe that women shouldn’t try to advance their own role in society. They hack into celebrities’ iPhones because they hate women. If Gamergate gets mentioned, they’ll dox any woman who dares to speak against them. Is Gene responsible for the actions of MRA trolls? No, but he’s made his share of misogynistic statements.

Unrelated: Gene Simmons ate a hamburger at LAX on 9/29.

Kim Kardashian to Kanye West: Don’t Even THINK About Contacting Amber Rose!

It’s been less than three weeks since Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa, but both parties are rumored to have moved on already.

Wiz has been spotted out with several different rebound chicks, and sources say Amber is dating Nick Simmons, son of Kiss lead singer Gene Simmons.

Amber insists she and Simmons are just friends, and given how badly things ended with Khalifa, it’s not surprising that she might be hesitant to enter into another serious relationship.

But there’s one person who would reportedly like to see Ms. Rose settle down with a new dude ASAP:

  • Kanye West and Kim in London
  • Amber Rose VMA Dress

Insiders say Kim Kardashian is deeply concerned that Amber will swoop in and steal Kanye West from her, and she’s even gone so as to ban Yeezy from having any contact with his bootylicious ex.

“She told him if he even thinks about contacting [Amber], he’ll pay dearly,” a source close to Kim tells Radar Online. “Kim’s paranoia is at an all-time high!”

Amber dated Kanye for almost two years beginning in 2008. West has spoken of Rose in glowing terms since their breakup, so it’s not hard to see why Kim might be concerned.

But apparently Kim’s love lockdown isn’t limited to Amber. Sources say Rob Kardashian’s ex Rita Ora is also on Kanye’s no-contact list.

“She thinks Rita is so desperate for fame that she wouldn’t hesitate to sleep with Kanye if it helped her career,” says the insider.

Fortunately for Kim, Kanye’s trailed by paparazzi 24/7, so he would really have to pull off some serious stealth moves if he wanted to cheat. It’s hard for a dude in leather sweatpants and a diamond-encrusted ski mask to remain low key.

Gene Simmons apologizes for telling depressed people to go die: sincere?

Gene Simmons

This is a photo of Gene Simmons with the other KISS dudes (Eric Carr, Paul Stanley, and Tommy Thayer) at the American Idol grand finale in May. We have more recent pictures of Gene (below). I began with this picture to remind us all that Gene was the original Miley Cyrus. Dat tongue is so gross.

Gene landed in hot water last week, and he did it to himself. He made some rude and insensitive comments about depression and suicide. The remarks came in the wake of Robin William’s untimely death. Here’s what Gene originally said during an interview with Songfacts in an interview. He was answering a question about whether or not he got along with the original KISS members:

“No, I don’t get along with anybody who’s a drug addict and has a dark cloud over their head and sees themselves as a victim. Drug addicts and alcoholics are always: ‘The world is a harsh place.’ My mother was in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. I don’t want to hear f— all about ‘the world as a harsh place.’ She gets up every day, smells the roses and loves life. And for a putz, 20-year-old kid to say, ‘I’m depressed, I live in Seattle.’ F— you, then kill yourself.

“I never understand, because I always call them on their bluff. I’m the guy who says ‘Jump!’ when there’s a guy on top of a building who says, ‘That’s it, I can’t take it anymore, I’m going to jump.’ Are you kidding? Why are you announcing it? Shut the f— up, have some dignity and jump! You’ve got the crowd. By the way, you walk up to the same guy on a ledge who threatens to jump and put a gun to his head, ‘I’m going to blow your f—in’ head off!’ He’ll go, ‘Please don’t!’ It’s true. He’s not that insane.”

[From Songfacts]

Of course people got really angry with Gene. Many radio stations decided to boycott Gene’s music. The #BanGene hashtag started trending on Twitter. Nikki Sixx (of Motley Crue) spoke out on his radio show: “I like Gene. But in this situation, I don’t like Gene. I don’t like Gene’s words. I don’t want people to listen to an interview from a rock star, who’s telling you the only way out is out.” Gene fully deserved all of the backlash. He must have felt the heat because he posted a “clarification” on Facebook:

“I want to make this statement about my views on depression for the record and to clarify my prior remarks.

“To the extent my comments reported by the media speak of depression, I was wrong and in the spur of the moment made remarks that in hindsight were made without regard for those who truly suffer the struggles of depression. I sincerely apologize to those who were offended by my comments. I recognize that depression is very serious and very sad when it happens to anyone, especially loved ones. I deeply support and am empathetic to anyone suffering from any disease, especially depression.

“I have never sugarcoated my feelings regarding drug use and alcoholics. Somewhere along the line, my intention of speaking in very directly and perhaps politically incorrectly about drug use and alcoholics has been misconstrued as vile commentary on depression. Unkind statements about depression was certainly never my intention. Fully, you will know that and I do not intend to defend myself here and now, by listing the myriad charities and self-help organizations I am involved with. Rather, I simply want to be clear that my heart goes out to anyone suffering from depression and I deeply regret any offhand remarks in the heat of an interview that might have suggested otherwise.”

[From Gene Simmons on Facebook]

Is this a sufficient apology? Nikki Sixx has updated his opinion and complimented Gene on his apology: “That was 100% the right thing to do.” Yes, it was a good thing for Gene to issue a statement, but he never really admitted to saying something wrong. He only said that his “politically incorrect” remarks were “misconstrued.” Gene does say that he feels badly for people with depression. He tries to make it sound like he was only talking about drug and alcohol abuse. Unless Songfacts altered his original quote, I don’t see how Gene’s words could be interpreted as anything but a blanket statement about suicide.

Here’s a recent picture of Sixx. He’s aging pretty well for 1980s rock god.

29 Celebrities You Didn’t Know Weren’t American Born (You’ll Never Believe #29)!!

When it comes to that miscreant Justin Bieber, neither Canada nor the United States seems to want the kid, if Olympic hockey billboards are to be believed.

He’s Canadian, just for the record. Sorry, you’re not perfect after all, Canada.

Other famous faces, however, actually bring honor and pride to their countries of birth, so much so that America would gladly claim them for her own.

Many stars born elsewhere who work primarily in the U.S. seek dual citizenship, and that’s actually pretty neat if you think about it. They love us! They really love us!

They seem as American as apple pie, but plenty of your favorite stars weren’t born here at all. See 29 examples below … and you’ll never believe #29:

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman, nee Natalie Hershlag, was born in Jerusalem in 1981. She has dual citizenship in the United States and Israel.

War Machine: Captured, Arrested For Christy Mack Assault

Jonathan Koppenhaver, a.k.a. War Machine, has been arrested in California and charged with the assault on Christy Mack he allegedly carried out last week.

War Machine was apprehended in a hotel room outside Los Angeles.

War Machine Mug Shot

He was caught by U.S. Marshals and local police in Simi Valley, Calif., his hometown. He was in a hotel room with pizza and a small amount of cash.

The fugitive MMA fighter, on the run since last weekend, did not put up a fight. He is being held without bond on a fugitive from justice federal charge.

War Machine is accused of savagely beating Christy Mack last Friday morning, leaving her with 18 broken bones and a lacerated liver, police said.

Koppenhaver later Tweeted: “The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it’s all just heart breaking.”

On Tuesday, authorities issued a warrant for Koppenhaver, charging him with several counts of battery, assault with a deadly weapon and other crimes.

Mack, meanwhile, posted several pictures of her severe injuries and released her version of events as the porn community rallied to raise money for her.

The adult film star also alleges that Koppenhaver stabbed her several times and that he had beaten up her previously before they broke up in May.

Cops went to War Machine’s home in San Diego to remove two of his exotic snakes; Dog the Bounty Hunter, who vowed to hunt him down, was also present.

Mack’s friends and family are relieved War Machine was arrested. Like them, we wish Mack a full and speedy recovery and hope that justice prevails.

Biggie Smalls Killer: Covered Up By LAPD to Protect Law Enforcement Involvement?!

The murderer of Biggie Smalls (a.k.a. Notorious B.I.G.) is well known to Los Angeles police, but they refuse to proceed with an arrest, a new report alleges.

Why? Because doing so would supposedly expose a police cover-up.

Big Poppa

A law enforcement source says under condition of anonymity:

“The LAPD Robbery Homicide unit tasked with investigating Biggie’s murder knows exactly who fired the gun, and which people were involved in the planning.”

The rapper (real name Christopher Wallace) was murdered while riding in the front seat of a Suburban after leaving a hip hop party in Los Angeles in 1997.

Years later, Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, and his widow, Faith Evans, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the LAPD and several of its members.

They allege that Wallace’s death was “in a very efficient, organized and professional manner, suggesting that a high degree of coordination and planning.”

The lawsuit also claims that disgraced former Officer Rafael Perez admitted to cops that he and fellow cop David Mack, “conspired to murder” Wallace.

Not only that, the two carried it out – or so the lawsuit claims.

But according to the source, “There will never be an arrest made because it would rock the department to the core. There was a cover-up after the murder.”

“This goes way beyond Mack and Perez.”

Notorious BIG and Puff Daddy

Notorious BIG and Puff Daddy from back in the day. Look at that beeper.

“Publicly the [LAPD] will say it’s still an open investigation, but that is a sham; the old saying that the cover-up is worse than the crime couldn’t be more true in this case.”

“The cover-up would put numerous current and former cops behind bars for years on charges ranging from conspiracy to fraud and making false statements.”

Another source says that the “cops want to make an arrest in the [Biggie] case, but witnesses haven’t been cooperative, and that has been a problem from day one.”

Perez was involved in a cover-up of an unrelated bank robbery, then sentenced to eight years in prison for stealing $800,000 worth of cocaine from an LAPD evidence locker.

Allegedly, the disgraced cop also shot and framed a man with gang connections, having left him paralyzed for a crime he may or may not have committed.

He also was reported to have had connections to the Los Angeles gang, the Bloods, and connections to Suge Knight, former head of Death Row Records.

There have been widespread reports that Knight ordered Wallace’s murder in retaliation for the death of Tupac Shakur … though Knight also says Tupac is alive.

In any case, the LAPD, which apologized to the rapper’s family after the 2012 release of the Notorious B.I.G. autopsy report declined to comment, stating simply:

“There is no new information to give out.”

Robin Williams To Be Memorialized in New World of Warcraft Game

His films, his stand-up routines and his talk show appearances will all live forever.

And now Robin Williams will also live forever in the world of video games. In the world of World of Warcraft, to be specific.

Blizzard Entertainment, the company behind this insanely popular franchise, announced on Thursday that a Williams character will be added to an upcoming version of its game.

“It will most likely be a character inspired by him or some of his favorite roles of the past,” said lead game designer Ion Hazzikostas.

The move comes days after Williams killed himself via hanging at the age of 63.

He was an avid gamer and a vocal fan of the World of Warcraft series and fans responded by starting an online petition at that has garnered over 10,000 signature.

Tributes and words of sympathy continue to pour in regarding Williams, whose wife said yesterday was suffering from early stages of Parkinson’s Disease at the time of his suicide.

Not all responses have been positive, however, Gene Simmons is in hot water for basically telling depressed people to kill themselves.

Miranda Lambert Fought Chad Kroeger in a Bar?!

Miranda Lambert covers the new issue of Rolling Stone and inside the magazine she makes some surprising revelations about her private life, celebrity obsessions, and…willingness to throw down in  drunken bar brawls?!

Miranda Lambert Rolling Stone Cover

Things start off innocently enough, with the singer addressing the seemingly endless Miranda Lambert pregnancy rumors: “I’m, like, really magical,” she says. “I’ve been pregnant for two and a half years.”

She then goes on to reveal that she’s a huge Beyonce fan: “She’s a girl from Houston who’s worked her butt off to get where she is.”

Then, Miranda’s husband, Blake Shelton, chimes in and things get a little weird:

Speaking of Miranda’s toughness, Shelton says, “People always try to pop off or call her bluff at bars. One of them, I don’t want to say the guy’s name, but he’s the lead singer of a very popular rock band. His initials are C.K.”

After realizing that Louis C.K. is neither a rock singer nor the type a guy to pick a fight with a girl, the Internet concluded that Shelton must be talking about Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

There have long been rumors that Lambert drinks a lot (there are no such rumors about Shelton as he just openly admits that he’s a boozer), but is she really such a badass that she’s knocking out members of crappy Canadian bands in bars?!

Let’s hope so! Miranda, you have out undying respect.
