There’s an Archie movie in the works! And it may include…Zombies?
Well, initial Zombie rumors have been dispelled, but we can still hold out hope.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, a writer for the TV show Glee, will provide the script. Aguirre-Sacasa has worked with the character before, having written the Archie Meets Glee comic books.
While the plot was originally described as Archie taking on zombies, the film is now being talked about as a teenaged midlife crisis movie, which takes place just before graduation.
Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore is attached to direct.

The Little Prince Voice Cast: Announced!

The Little Prince is one of the most popular books of all time.
As such, it’s shocking that a major motion picture has yet to be made based on the French children’s novella.
Well, now it’s happening! And the voice cast is epic.
James Franco, Rachel McAdams, Jeff Bridges, Marion Cotillard, Benicio Del Toro, and Paul Giamatti will star in The Little Prince movie.
The story follows a pilot who becomes stranded in the desert, where he meets a young prince fallen from an asteroid.
Mark Osborne, who directed Kung Fu Panda, will take the helm on the production.

Demi Lovato screeched in delight last week when she saw Ben Stiller on the streets of New York.
But now the singer has a new reason to be excited: her first-ever eBook!
“I have an eBook coming out!! Exclusively for iPad!! Aaaand you can pre-order it NOW!!!!!” The X Factor judge Tweeted today along with a link to the pre-order page.

Piers Morgan Tell-All: Coming in October

We somehow doubt Ted Nugent will be buying a copy, but Piers Morgan announced today that he is penning a tell-all that will be released in October.
The memoir will reportedly be titled “Shooting Straight: Guns, Gays, God, and George Clooney” and will focus on his life as host at CNN.
Most recently, that life has centered on Morgan debating the issue of gun control with such conservatives as Nugent, Alex Jones, most memorably, Larry Pratt.

The Boston University College Republicans’ news whites-only scholarship has sparked national attention, debate, and in some cases outrage.
The group’s president admits his goal in establishing a $250 Caucasian Achievement and Recognition Scholarship was to kick the proverbial hornets’ nest.

Dr. Joyce Brothers, a popular psychologist who was also known as an author and general media personality, passed away today. She was 85 years old.
Publicist Sanford Brokaw broke the said news, confirming that his client died in New York City after a long battle with an unidentified illness.
